Ambition Exceeding Common Sense
Too much ambition? Most will say that doesn’t exist but I’d disagree. I can think of a few times off the top of my head that my ambition caused myself more work and if I just let an opportunity, that wasn’t that great in the first place, just slide by. I’m definitely learning from these times but they still happen to me because they are hard to identify in my brain. I like to take every opportunity, no matter how difficult it may be, as long as I gain something from it but I’d say the biggest gain I can make is letting an opportunity go and regain my peace of mind. Peace of mind seems to be my favorite mind state as I move through my 20’s. So a lot of ambition is great but please don’t let it exceed your common sense. Not all opportunities are provided equally.
