Apiary Update

We harvested honey from the apiary this week. We got about 200 fl oz, about a gallon and a half. We were pretty happy with these numbers, I was hoping for a bit more but we take what we can get. Now we may feed some sugar water to help the bees build out their 2 boxes for the winter then we’ll winterize hives and hope for the best. My plan this year is to do very little in winterizing in hope that the bees feel more of a natural winter as they would in the wild. Fingers crossed 🤞
