Apiary Update

Well we have lost one hive already but we do have 5 that are stronger than ever. We’ve had great honey yields and expect another great one early fall. We don’t have much nectar flow right now but it will pick back up soon with call bloomers starting. Our honey will hopefully be a darker color and more savory as well. It’s great to cook with and adds many flavors. Hoping to have a few hives survive this winter and we’ll treat for Varrora mites next month to ensure hive health going into winter.
